About Jill

I'm Jill — maker, designer, and the hands behind Jilliangemme Leather Designs in Huntsville, Alabama.

For the last 11 years, I've been building this business the same way I build every piece: by hand, from scratch, one at a time. I hand-dye and seal my own Greek leather, pairing it with Edison freshwater pearls and Tahitian pearls — the heart of my Coastal Collection. My leather jewelry is rooted in rustic feminine design. My Dust and Stone collection comes from the western bohemian aesthetic I'm drawn to — rugged, free-spirited, untamed. I work only with high-quality, genuine gemstones; they're part of who I am, not just what I make. No two pieces are ever alike, because no two stories are either.

My own story took a turn I never expected. I battled addiction, and today I'm six and a half years sober. That fight gave me back my hands, my focus, and my purpose. Everything I make now carries that with it: experience, strength, and hope. If my work — or my story — inspires even one person to believe change is possible, then every hard mile was worth it.

From a one-of-a-kind necklace finding its way into Ella Langley's touring kit, to my pieces being gifted to the wives of NFL players at Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona — to the markets and festivals across Alabama where I get to meet you face to face.
